Analytica Vietnam surpasses expectations
The continuing growth of major conference and exhibition events in Asia can continue to give confidence to potential exporters in Europe with major events reporting strong attendances. In many cases smaller businesses on fact-finding missions are able to take advantage of established support from industry organisations which host companies in pavilions, helping to drive down costs of attendance. Analytica Vietnam 2011, Saigon Exhibition & Convention Centre, Ho Chi Minh City (April 7-9) reports a higher than 25% increase on the number of exhibitors in pre-event statistics; this has been attributed to the growing presence of international and Vietnamese manufacturers of laboratory and analysis equipment and biotechnology companies underscoring the growing significance of these industries in the region, according to the organisers. Analytica Vietnam Conference will also promote dialog between industry and science. A workshop –Validation of Analytical Methods for FDA and EU compliance also takes into account Vietnam’s growing volume of foreign trade with European and other countries.
