For almost half a century, the RCT basic has not only been IKA's bestseller, but also the standard and reference instrument in laboratories and research facilities around the world. But better is always possible. For IKA, innovation means not only developing market novelties, but also making existing products better and better for our customers. Therefore, based on the proven features of the previous model, we have developed the RCT basic, a new magnetic stirrer with state-of-the-art technology and outstanding design.

Compared to other manufacturers, the RCT basic from IKA is characterised by a very high standard of device and application safety. This is clearly reflected in the numerous safety features of the device, such as the conveniently adjustable, independent temperature safety circuit for the heating plate, the numerous monitoring functions of the temperature values, the hot surface warning as well as the confirmation mode, in which all changes to set values and the safety temperature must be additionally confirmed.
